The Supremes - We Remember Sam Cooke
The fifth studio album recorded by the Supremes, We Remember Sam Cooke, was issued by Motown on April 1965 and consist of a tribute album to Cooke, who had died the previous December. The LP is conformed entirely of Cooke covers including "A Change is Gonna Come" "You Send Me" and "(Ain't that) Good news"(led by Florence Ballard) and the delightfull "Wonderful World". It was the second most succesful in a series of themed albums enjoying one number five peak on the Billboard R&B chart.
