Elemental Music proudly announces the ultimate remastered edition of Hot on the Tracks by the Commodores, Motown’s most successful act of the 1970s. One of the Alabama band’s most acclaimed and emblematic LPs, this masterpiece was released by Motown Records in 1976. The group’s fourth studio album, it includes the Top Ten single “Just to Be Close to You”. This was the band’s first LP to top the R&B albums chart, where it stayed for six non consecutive weeks, and peaked two positions below the Top 10 on the pop albums chart. It was the last LP they recorded before becoming a major crossover act.
